Native Resolution

The number rows of horizontal and vertical pixels that create the picture. The native resolution describes the actual resolution of the display and not the resolution of the delivery signal. When the delivery format is higher or lower than the screen's native pixel resolution, the delivery signal will be converted to the video glasses native resolution through an internal converter. Generally, the closer the incoming picture signal is to the native pixel resolution on the video glasses display - the better the picture. For example, a VGA smart phone signal of 640X480 will match up perfectly with a video glasses display with 640x480 native pixel resolution, while an iPhone's QVGA signal of 320X240 will have to be converted to match up better with VGA video glasses. Other considerations include the quality of the internal converter/scalar.

The options available for native resolution include: 320x240, 640x480, 800x600.
